Design: Genomic libraries were prepared following the manufacturer's protocol for the QIAseq FX DNA Library Kit (QIAGEN, Hilden, Germany), with slight modifications. Specifically, 5 ng of DNA was utilized as the input, Subsequently, the libraries underwent sequencing on the Illumina Novaseq 6000 platform, employing a 391 bp paired-end read protocol. To ensure fidelity during amplification, HiFi PCR Master Mix was employed. The amplified libraries were then subjected to analysis using the high-sensitivity D1000 ScreenTape on the TapeStation 4150 (Agilent Technologies).

Specifically, WGS can provide information on the presence of genes involved in the production of bioactive molecules, adhesion to host cells, and modulation of the immune system.
